When you use SendSasa, we collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, phone number, email address, and the details of money transfers you initiate.

We also automatically collect certain technical information when you interact with our service, such as your device type, browser, and general location data used solely to comply with financial regulations.

We use your personal information to process and complete money transfers, verify your identity as required by anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations, and communicate with you about your transactions.

We may also use your information to improve our services, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

SendSasa does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with financial partners (such as Circle, XRPL, MTN MoMo, Orange Money, and M-Pesa) necessary to complete your transfer, and with regulatory authorities when required by law.

We may share aggregated, non-identifiable data with partners for analytical purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits to protect your personal and financial data.

Funds are held in USDC stablecoin backed by audited reserves via Circle. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of 5 years after your last transaction, as required by financial regulations. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data by contacting us.

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a portable copy of your data.
